Stillage Pick Area

Our customer wanted an area where stillages could be safely loaded away from the operators who pick from them.

We designed barriers which keep the stillages separate from each other, complete with a simple traffic light system whch informs the logistics team when a new stillage is required.

To protect the new resin floor the stillages are loaded onto an aluminium chequer plate area, which stops with a large RSA buffer, the operator then walks up a small ramp section to safely pick from the stillage.

The barriers are powder coated, complete with protective nylon pads, while the ramp is painted with an anti-slip paint; the whole system is modular allowing the customer to move and re-use each section as the needs of the business requires.
